A Message From Our Founding Family
We are the Lahmann Family. Missionaries the the Navajo Indian Reservation and Founders for Narrow Path Ministry.
The Lord called our family the SW Colorado in 2011 after four years of Mission Trips to the Navajo Nation. Our congregation is small and located in Mexican Water, Az. We travel the 90 miles one way to church each weekend to join together with our church family. Our Church Family consist of aprox. 30 Navajo Indians located in one of the most rural areas of the Navajo Reservation. We are the only Baptist church located within 45 miles of any direction, with only 30 Baptist churches found in the entire Reservation.
Due to the restrictions of the Navajo Nation we are unable to have a home on the reservation, and we live in SW Colorado. This unique set up allowed us to begin and grow Narrow Path Ministry. A ministry for pastors, teen boys, and men to experience the back country of the Colorado Wilderness.
We have five children: Trenton (21), Austin (19), Emma (17), Drew (8), and Gunnison (7). It is our love for the back country, our necessity to provide healthy food for our family, and our desire to raise our own children able to navigate the mountainside that led us to begin Narrow Path Ministry.

It is our prayer and desire to share the mission work that the Lord has called us to with others. Whether you are interested in bringing your family or your youth group on a mission trip to the Navajo Nation or you want to join one of the men’s hunting opportunities we know that your trip will be a memory of a lifetime.
Our Mission
The heartbeat of our family is to share the Lord through our daily lives. Whether it’s a summer mission trip, a fall big game hunt, a Sunday service, or a weekday meeting; we pray that our love for the Lord will be evident in everything we do. Every acceptance of our ministry is to share the gift of Salvation with those around us. We are thankful the Lord has chosen us to share this gift of salvation in the Navajo Nation and through outdoor opportunities.
Our Need
As we look at our ability to fulfill the role that God has called us to we know that we cannot do it alone. We need partners from churches, families, and men and women like you.
